Welcome to the Newcastle Healthy Schools Website. This site is intended for teachers, governors, parents and pupils and anyone with a role in health education and promotion in Newcastle Schools. It aims to keep you up to date with developments relating to healthy schools and Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE) and Citizenship. The site gives information and advice on healthy schools,how to achieve National Healthy School Status, PSHE and Citizenship. It also provides hyperlinks to other key sites on these issues. The Newcastle Healthy Schools Website is a joint initiative between Newcstle Local Authority Childrens Services, Education and Newcastle Primary Care Trust. It forms onepart of an extensive healthy schools programme on offer in Newcastle. We would welcome feedback from you on the site.
